Ok everybody, we all know it’s Mother’s Day.  How could we forget!  It is not Two-fer-Tuesday, but we are going to link two anniversaries today.  First up, of course is Mother’s Day itself.  The celebration we know now is generally credited to Anna Marie Jarvis in memory of her mother, who died on May 9, 1905.  The first commemorative service was ( Read more... )
